The Wildlife Festival took over the Stettler Agriplex from Friday, November 24 to Sunday, November 26.

It was the final stop on their current tour. Families from around Central Alberta came to Stettler to visit with the exotic animals.

Most of the creatures were exotic pets that had been abandoned or given up and rescued by the show organizers.

During the stage show, the host made it clear that many people who get exotic pets don’t do their research and get more than they bargained for.

They brought a great selection of animals to the Stettler show including two porcupines named Pins and Needles, snakes, lizards, turtles, and of course, Linus the sloth!
