It was a late start to the game on Friday night as there were some Zamboni issues in Sedgewick. Once the game began, the Sabres took the early lead by scoring two goals in the first period. Both teams scored a goal in the 2nd period, so Sedgwick led 3-1 after two periods. Stettler pushed in the third, but couldn’t complete the comeback, falling by a score of 3-2 in Sedgewick.

Stettler Imperials defenseman Cody Wright got in an inspired fight with a Sabre, which has been shared across the Imperials’ social media platforms.

Stettler currently has a record of (2-3) and will be back on the ice on Saturday November 23 at 7:30 p.m. against the Irma Aces. The game will be streamed on Hometown Productions & Media’s Youtube channel.
