Festival of Lights Aims To Bring New Patient Lifts To Stettler Hospital

The 27th annual Festival of Lights fundraiser ran from November 26 – 30, supporting the Stettler Health Care Centre.

In particular, the fundraiser hopes to purchase overhead patient lifts by raising $100,000. The popular fundraiser had several events throughout the week.

It kicked off with the ATCO Pancake Breakfast, with other events such as senior’s tea. The week wrapped up with a Hawaiian Luau themed Dine, Dance & Auction.

There was also a huge number of auction items to help the Festival of Lights reach their goal. Over the past 26 years, the fundraiser has raised over $1,465,000.

Last year, the Stettler Hospital Foundation was able to purchase three panda warmers for the hospital, thanks to donations from the Festival of Lights.
