Stettler Town Council has approved a $36,000 request from the local museum for their 2025 budget. Council met on Jan 21 to review their contribution to the organization’s annual budget, among other items on the agenda.

The Stettler Town & Country Museum is projected to have a slight deficit in their just over $157,000 budget in 2025. Increasing maintenance costs & utility increases were highlighted as notable expenses in the last year.

Council commended the hard work of the museum’s volunteer run board to be able to hold such successful events such as the Heritage Expo, Boo-seum & Light The Night.

The opening of the Dick Richards Memorial Mini-Golf Course has also helped attract new visitors to the museum.
