The County of Stettler appointed a new deputy reeve during their March 12 meeting.
Councillor Paul McKay has been sworn in until the fall municipal election, replacing Coun. Justin Stevens.
Each council member serves in this capacity for an eight month term, to stand in for Reeve Larry Clarke if he is unable to chair a meeting.
Municipal elections across Alberta will be held on October 20, 2025.
