The Sedgewick Sabres have captured the Ralph Wiest Memorial Trophy once again after knocking off the Oyen Eagles on March 21.
The Sabres achieved back to back championships after an 8-2 rout of the Eagles at home in Sedgewick on Friday night, following a 7-1 win in game one, and a 3-0 win on the road in Oyen in game two.
The Stettler Imperials fell to the Sabres in the semi-finals this year, after losing out last season in the finals to Sedgewick.
Congratulations to the Sabres on a dominant season. The Imperials will hit the ice for their fifth season this fall.
