4-H Regional Presentations Held In Stettler

Participants in the East Central 4-H Club show off their certificates following regional presentations on March 22.

4-H Clubs from across east-central Alberta gathered in Stettler on Sat, Mar 22 for regional presentations.

Presenters were asked to pick a topic they are passionate about, and were scored on their displays, audience engagement & pronunciation of their material.

Topics covered included toucans, bush craft, artificial insemination, hockey sticks, goalie equipment, tornados, owls & sheep breeds to name a few. 

The event promotes youth speaking & presentation skills across three categories, junior (9-11), intermediate (12-14) & senior (15+).

Representatives were in attendance from the Erskine, Byemoor, Morin, Coronation, Consort, Hanna, Battle River, Wavy Lake & Rural Roots 4-H clubs.

Judges were on hand to score the participants, and then selected a winner from each category.

Winners: Jr Category: 1st: Brielle Sorensen, 2nd: Ryland Ayrey, 3rd: Joelle Zwack

Intermediate Category: 1st: Brianna Martin, 2nd: Cole Charbonneau, 3rd: Colter Buchwitz

Senior Category: 1st: Liberty Borgel, 2nd: Porter Martin, 3rd: Trinity Thomas
