Applications are now being accepted for Stettler’s Canada Day Parade, which will take place on July 1 at 10 AM.

This year, the route begins at West Stettler Park and will now head north to Highway 12, turning right onto the highway.

It then continues along Highway 12 until reaching Main Street, where it continues to Highway 56 to finish outside of the Town of Stettler office.

This route differs quite a bit from parades in the past. The parade route will now spend more time on Highway 12 and won’t go down the road between the golf course and the hospital. The parade won’t pass the high school and will now travel in the opposite direction on Main Street.

A parade participant package can be found on the Stettler Board of Trade’s website: https://www.stettlerboardoftrade.com/projects/stettler-canada-parade

They ask that all packages be received back by June 20, 2025, to participate in the parade.

The annual parade used to coincide with the Stettler Steel Wheel Stampede.
