Ahead of National Nurses Week in Canada, the Town & County of Stettler have come together to acknowledge those who work on the front lines of our local healthcare system.
Mayor Sean Nolls & County Reeve Larry Clarke gathered for a proclamation signing on Apr 28 to highlight the work of nursing professionals.
Nurses in the area have been in high demand, particularly with the shortage of doctors Stettler has seen in recent years.
National Nurses Week starts May 12, which also marks the date of Florence Nightingale’s birth, a well known figure in nursing and runs until May 18.
