Now’s the best time to figure out where to set up your lawn chair for the Stettler’s Canada Day Parade!

After the initial new parade route had to be changed, the Stettler Regional Board of Trade has released the official path of the parade.

This year, the route begins at 10 AM at West Stettler Park and will head north past Highway 12, then turn right onto 50 A Ave.

From there it turns onto Highway 56, and then goes down 50 Ave past the Memorial Park & school complex, before turning to finish on the end of Main Street.

Applications for parade floats can be found on the Stettler Board of Trade’s website: https://www.stettlerboardoftrade.com/projects/stettler-canada-parade

They ask that all packages be received back by June 20, 2025, to participate in the parade. Participants are asked to arrive for float assembly between 9:15 and 9:45 AM on July 1.

The annual parade used to coincide with the Stettler Steel Wheel Stampede in early June.
