A film production company will be shooting an episode of a series for WILD TV in the County of Stettler later this fall.

‘A Little Late Films’ will film one of six episodes of a new program called “72 Hours To Survive” hosted by survivalist Dale Kiselyk in the County of Stettler.

The six episodes will focus on six different ways a person may be lost in the wilderness: snowmobiling, hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, hunting, & atv’ing.

Kiselyk will then spend 72 hours in various environments demonstrating the best way to be rescued.

Council allocated a $5,250 request to go towards a 30 second advertisement of their choice that will play during the episode in our region, expected to air in the fall of 2026.

The County of Woodlands, Big Lakes County, County of Barrhead & M.D. of Greenview have also signed on as filming locations.
