Town Council Sets Election Voting Procedures

Voting procedures for the upcoming municipal election were discussed during the first council meeting of June. (June 3)

Stettler residents will head to the polls on Monday, Oct. 20 to elect a mayor and six councillors for the Town of Stettler.

The general vote will be held at the Stettler Community Hall between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Advance voting will take place at the Town Office from Oct. 14 to 17.

Council directed administration to move forward with standard election procedures.

Any changes to voting stations or dates need to be made ahead of the June 30 deadline under Alberta’s Local Authorities Election Act.
