The Stettler Agri-plex was a busy place on Sunday, July 13, as the Foothills Model T Ford Club kicked off its Steam’N T Party with a community meet-and-greet.
The event marked the beginning of a weeklong tour through central Alberta by the Model T Ford Club of America, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Stettler Mayor Sean Nolls & County Reeve Larry Clarke brought greetings on behalf of the Town and County of Stettler, welcoming the convoy of vintage Ford owners and enthusiasts.
The gathering offered collectors a chance to reconnect and gave the public a look at how the century-old vehicles operate.

Stettler previously hosted the MTFCA tour in 1995 and is serving as the group’s base of operations for the week.
On Monday, participants will trek down to Drumheller to visit the Royal Tyrrell Museum.
On Tuesday morning, several Model T’s will be loaded onto the Prairie Railway Excursion train bound for Big Valley.

Wednesday’s itinerary includes a morning stop at Stettler’s Aspen Ford, followed by afternoon activities at the Town and Country Museum.
The group is scheduled to travel to Reynolds-Alberta Museum in Wetaskiwin on Thursday, before returning to the region for an event at Buffalo Lake on Friday.
