County of Stettler Press Release:

Please be advised, due to a water line break at the Water Treatment Plant, we are operating under a Conserve Water Notice, effective immediately.

We are operating under Step 2: Water Conservation Guidelines.

Shirley McClellan Regional Water Services Commission has disabled all bulk Truck Fills in the County of Stettler and to the eastern border (Saskatchewan) with the following exceptions:

-Truck Fill Stations in Endiang and Byemoor remain OPEN as they are fed from a different source.

-The Rochon Sands bucket fill remains online.

-The Agriculture Tank Loader stations in the County of Stettler remain open (they are well-fed).

In a post to Facebook, the Town of Stettler said due to the break at the water treatment plant, their bulk water station and spray park are temporarily closed.

Meanwhile, residents in Alix & Clive have been placed under step 3 water restrictions, and are asked to only use water for essential uses at this time.
