The Stettler Regional Fire Department went door-to-door on October 6, collecting 10,000 pounds of food for the Stettler Food Bank.

Firefighters & volunteers visited homes across the community as part of the department’s annual food drive, gathering donations ranging from canned goods to non-perishable staples.

Sirens could be heard throughout town on Monday evening, as the department gathered the massive haul that will help support local families throughout the coming months.

The food bank relies heavily on initiatives like this to keep its shelves stocked, especially as demand continues to grow.

The Stettler Regional Fire Department encourages residents to continue supporting the food bank through donations year-round.
