Stettler Festival of Lights

The Town of Stettler will once again support the Festival of Lights, set to take place November 25 to 29.

At its October 7 meeting, council approved the purchase of a table for the Stettler Health Services Foundation’s annual gala.

Earlier this year, Council also allocated a $1,500 donation to the event through the 2025 operating budget.

The Festival of Lights held each year at the Stettler Community Hall, is a key fundraiser for the Stettler Hospital & Care Centre.

Now in its 28th year, the volunteer-led event has raised more than $1.5 million to date for healthcare equipment upgrades.

Proceeds from this year’s festival will go toward the purchase of an Olympus endoscopy tower.

The County of Stettler has also confirmed its participation, approving the purchase of two gala tables & the donation of a decorated tree at its September 24 meeting.

Tickets for the Festival of Lights Gala, set for Saturday, November 29, went on sale on October 1.
