A big comeback was on the menu for the Stettler Imperials as the team was triumphant in their season opener in Provost.
The Imperials were down 3-2 to the Combines going into the third period, but completed the comeback after netting 4 goals in the final frame to secure the 6-4 victory.
The rookie Ethan Raab scored the Imperials’ first goal of the season.
The goalie matchup was Simon Thieleman for Stettler against Ty McMann for Provost.
The Imperials’ next game is their Halloween Home Opener on October 25 against the Irma Aces. Puck drop at 7:30 p.m.
