Clearview Public Schools has made adjustments to its 2025–26 learning calendar to recover classroom time lost during the October teachers strike.
At the board meeting on Oct. 30, trustees approved several changes, including designating Nov. 10 as a professional development day for teachers.
Schools will remain closed Nov. 11 for Remembrance Day.
As well, Nov. 28 & Dec. 12 will now become regular school days with students in class.
The Alberta government has also cancelled January’s diploma exams and provincial achievement tests due to the lost instructional time.
