Students from Christ King Catholic school gathered at Lake View Cemetery on Monday, Nov. 3, for Stettler’s annual No Stone Left Alone ceremony.
Community groups such as the local legion & air cadet squadron were also on hand to honour the service of Canadian veterans.
The event was hosted by the Rotary Club of Stettler to acknowledge the sacrifices of those who left home to serve overseas in past conflicts.

Participants placed poppies on the headstones of veterans, as part of a nationwide effort to engage the youth with Canada’s military history.
The No Stone Left Alone Memorial Foundation was started in Edmonton in 2011, with ceremonies now taking place in hundreds of communities across Canada in the days leading up to Remembrance Day.
Stettler’s Remembrance Day service will take place on November 11 at the Performing Arts Centre.
