The Town of Stettler will formally welcome hundreds of visiting volunteers this spring for the 2026 Kinsmen & Kinette District Convention.

During its Jan. 20 meeting, council gave the green light for the Town of Stettler to host a welcome reception on Thursday, May 28.

The convention is set to run from May 28 to May 30, 2026 bringing approximately 250 delegates to Stettler.

Delegates will take part in a series of service projects throughout the town.

Council heard that volunteer efforts could include assisting with preparations at the Stettler Community Gardens.

In addition to hands-on volunteer work, the convention will also include fundraising initiatives aimed at supporting a local organization.
