County of Stettler Press Release:
County crews are currently working to address issues with frozen culverts, pooling water and soft spots on our gravel road network, caused by warmer temperatures and spring runoff throughout the County of Stettler.
Work includes steaming culverts, clearing storm drains and monitoring soft spots and rutts on roads.
Once enough drying has occurred crews will maintain these areas as quickly as possible.
We encourage residents to contact us directly at 403-742-4441 to report any areas needing attention, and after hours they can leave a message, DM us on Facebook, or send us an email at info@stettlercounty.ca.
Areas of concern will be addressed as efficiently as possible, unless a higher-priority issue occurs.
Residents are encouraged to report any areas requiring immediate attention, such as washed out or frozen culverts, and flooding or significant road damage impacting travel or posing a significant risk to safety or property.
The County does not maintain numbered provincial highways (2-digit or three-digit highways). To report issues with a provincial highway, dial 511.
We thank our residents and drivers for their caution and patience as crews work to address trouble spots.
