RCMP Confirm Missing Consort Woman Seen in Stettler

Consort RCMP Press Release: 

Consort RCMP are requesting assistance in locating 82-year-old Diane Cooper. She was reported missing to police on Apr. 7, 2026. 

Diane’s last known location is reported to be on April 6, 2026, around 9:30 pm in the Veteran area, between Coronation and Consort, on Highway 12.

Police have followed up on many leads and sightings reported by public; however, none have been substantiated. 

Police are completing extensive patrols in the search for Diane. Police confirmed Diane Cooper fueled up at a gas station in Stettler, Alta., on April 6. 

There is still concern for her well being. Diane is believed to be with her dalmatian dog and driving a grey Toyota C-HR XLE with Alberta licence plate LVA978.

Consort RCMP are receiving assistance from multiple RCMP resources within Alberta and Saskatchewan. 

Assisting RCMP resources include Alberta RCMP RTOC, Air Services, Missing Persons Unit, Intellex Unit, Provinicial Emergency Planning; RCMP Detachments assisting within Alberta include Consort, Coronation, Stettler, Oyen, Hanna, Three Hills, Killam, St. Paul, Lloydminster; RCMP Detachments assisting within Saskatchewan include Humboldt, Kindersley, Kerrobert, Macklin, Leader, and Turtleford. 

Outside agencies assisting are EMCON, Special Areas Counties, and the Rural Municipality of Heart Hills, Sask. Ground Search and Rescue is prepared in the even Cooper’s vehicle is located.
