Heartland Lodge Rezoning:
Approval has been given to renovate the Heartland Lodge into a 44 unit apartment complex.
A public hearing was held at Stettler Town Council on July 16 to rezone the motel on 59 Ave.
The zoning change will allow the developer to retrofit the motel rooms into bachelor suites.
Stettler’s recent housing survey showed a need for more housing options in the community.
Town council approved the second & third reading following the public hearing.
