The time has come. The Imperials road to the Ralph Wiest Memorial Trophy starts this Saturday.
The Stettler Imperials are preparing for the first round of the playoffs against the Irma Aces. After a hard-fought and successful regular season, the Imperials are eager to bring their A-game to the Stettler Rec Centre on Saturday for game 1 of the five-game series against the Irma Aces.
The Stetter Imperials finished the season with a 14-4 record and landed them in the third place position in the standings at the end of the year. The Irma Aces finished the season with a 7-9-2 record and are in the sixth position in the standings.
The Imperials beat the Aces both times they met during the regular season. Stettler defeated Irma 7-0 on December 21, 2024 and 6-2 on February 1, 2025
The Stettler Imperials have the top two point producers in the ECSHL in Dylan Houston and Quade Cassidy.
Stettler fans are known for their passionate support, and the players are counting on a packed arena to give them that extra edge.
Unlike past years, the first round of the playoffs will be a five-game series. Previously, the first round was just a three game-series.

Saturday’s matchup promises to be an exciting start to what the Imperials hope will be a deep playoff run.
