There was plenty to see at the 43rd edition of the Stettler Trade Show, as Hometown Productions and Media took part in the three day event.

“We’ve had a really good show, there were 100 more people through the door than last year.” according to Board of Trade Executive Director Byron Geddes.

“Talking to the vendors, the vendors have all been very happy. A lot of the vendors that have been selling products have stated that they’ve had great sales this weekend.”

Last year’s trade show saw roughly 3,500 people come through the doors. This year featured over 100 exhibitors across the red and blue arenas and the upstairs Hub, and is quite a feat to put all together says Geddes.

“You know, a team effort on behalf of the Board of Trade and the volunteer group to make it happen, really pleased with everything from everyone. So they worked really hard on this to get this done.”

Admission to the trade show was $5 a person for those 13 and over, or $2 dollars on Sunday with a food bank donation.

The Artisan Market upstairs featured a number of homemade goods such as knitting, woodworking and liquors, while the arenas downstairs had a bouncy house and a wind tunnel for the kids.

Plenty of food options around as well from the arena concession to pizza, cotton candy and candy apples.

Looking ahead to 2026, the Board of Trade is already preparing for next year’s show at the Stettler Recreation Centre. If your business is interested in taking part, spots are limited.

“We were sold out this year, and we were sold out about a month in advance. So if you are interested in coming to our trade show, do not wait. If you get a spot early, there’s a 10% discount.”
