The Town of Stettler has awarded a tender to Olds Concrete Services Inc. for sidewalk replacements around the community.
Council approved the $71,990.00 contract at its most recent meeting, with the project to be funded through the town’s 2025 capital budget.
A total of $130,000 had been allocated for the replacement of various concrete sections throughout Stettler. As part of the motion, council gave administration permission to spend up to the budgeted amount.
The tender process, issued to both local and out-of-town contractors, closed on June 25. Two other bids were received: Hadley Concrete at $103,135.42 and Jo’s Concrete at $123,108.00.
