Entrance to the Stettler Town & Country Museum

The County of Stettler will help fund improvements to the entrance of the Stettler Town & Country Museum.

In July, town council approved widening the main entrance to two lanes to ease traffic congestion during major events such as the Booseum & Light the Night.

The project also includes building a secondary access on the west side with gravel surfacing & culvert installations.

The town committed $3,570 in materials and the use of municipal staff for the work.

During their Sept 10 meeting, county council voted to contribute up to half of the material costs through its rural development fund.

A second motion was also passed requesting the Town fund the replacement gate that will be needed once the expansion is completed.
