School-board contests across the region are also taking shape, alongside the municipal elections.
Clearview Public Schools will see two races take place in Wards 4 & 5, while the remaining five seats have been acclaimed.
Ward 1 (Donalda & Erskine) – 1 Trustee – Guy Neitz – Acclaimed
Ward 2 (Big Valley) – 1 Trustee – Barb Gano – Acclaimed
Ward 3 (Stettler) – 2 Trustees – Becky Scott – Acclaimed, Greg Hayden – Acclaimed
Ward 4 (Botha & Byemoor) – 1 Trustee – Daram Van Oers, John Schofer – Incumbent
Ward 5 (Castor) – 1 Trustee – Wendy Coppock, Erika Grice – Incumbent
Ward 6 (Brownfield & Coronation) – 1 Trustee – Shauna-lee Thomas – Acclaimed
Ward 2 Trustee Kim Smyth was the only trustee from the current board to not run again.
Voters will head to the polls on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025. Voting runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
