County of Stettler councillors have voted to take part once again in the Stettler Town and Country Museum’s annual “Light the Night” display.

Council voted on Nov. 12 to once again contribute a display to the seasonal lighted route created by local businesses & community groups.

Visitors can tour the half-kilometre of lights at the museum on foot, by wagon ride, or from their vehicles.

The event runs Friday & Saturday evenings throughout December leading up to Christmas.

The County noted its own display typically costs between $200 and $600 in materials, with many pieces reused annually.

Administration will notify the museum of the council’s decision & begin preparing the 2025 display.

Visit the Stettler Town & Country Museum’s Facebook page for more details.
