Volunteers and local firefighters are taking to the streets this evening for the annual food drive for the Stettler and District Food Bank.
Residents planning to donate non-perishable goods are asked to leave items on their front doorsteps for volunteer pickup throughout the evening. (Oct. 5)
Priority items requested for this year’s drive include canned fruits and vegetables, canned meats, crackers, macaroni and cheese, oatmeal, cereal, applesauce, and fruit cups.
Volunteers canvassing the neighbourhoods will also accept cash and cheque donations.
For donors preferring digital contributions, electronic transfers can be sent to stettlerfoodbankdonation@gmail.com.
