    County of Stettler Press Release As a result of the recent weather conditions the Fire Restriction for the County of Stettler is lifted. Effective: 3:00 PM November 19, 2025 Regular fire permit conditions will apply going forward. Please consider the following: New permits will be issued by contacting the County of Stettler No. 6 office during regular office hours; •       Permit period is limited to 14 days; •       Permit holder is responsible for the safe control of the burning; •       Wind conditions must be less than 10km per hour; •       Minimum of one responsible adult present at burn site; •       All brush piles burned during the winter month must be buried at the conclusion of the burning and covered with soil to ensure the fire cannot re-ignite; •       Consideration must be given to neighbors...
