Stettler Physician & Ambulance Team Nominated For RHPAP Awards

Dr. Kim Chapman has been nominated for the 2026 Rhapsody Physician Award.

A local physician & ambulance team are being recognized as nominees for the 2026 RHPAP Rhapsody Awards.

Dr. Kim Chapman & the Stettler District Ambulance Association (SDAA) are among the finalists for the provincial honours, which celebrate healthcare professionals who demonstrate a commitment to rural communities.

Chapman, a Stettler-born physician, is a nominee for the Rhapsody Physician Award. 

Meanwhile, the SDAA is vying for the Rhapsody Healthcare Heroes Award. 

The 35-member team provides emergency services to an area stretching from Camrose to Drumheller & Red Deer to the Saskatchewan border.

The Rural Health Professions Action Plan (RhPAP) will announce the winners of the Rhapsody Awards on May 20.
