Town Council was provided with an update on the planned maintenance work during the annual pool shutdown in September.

The S-R-C pool was closed from September 3rd-15th, for tile repairs and installation of a window film to cut down the sunlight glare in the pool.

Staff drained the pools, and hauled nearly 500 sandbags to change the materials out of the filters, using a type of pea gravel & two grades of sand.

The benches in the change rooms were also sanded & varnished, while paint was touched up around the facility.

Finally, the water cannon replacements have been ordered, and will be shaped like racoons when they arrive.
