The annual Stettler Hospital fundraiser has exceeded expectations once again raising over $125,000.
This amount may increase if any donations were held up by the recent Canada Post strike according to the Stettler Health Services Foundation.
The 27th annual Festival of Lights held during the last week of November was looking to raise $100,000 to purchase three overhead ceiling lifts.
These lifts will assist patients in both the acute & long term care areas of the hospital.
A number of events were held Nov 26-30, such as the ATCO pancake breakfast, senior’s tea & a Hawaiian Luau themed Dine, Dance & Auction.

Amy Roberts, Festival of Lights chairperson, commented “this year was another Festival of Lights filled with laughter, smiles and people enjoying supporting a great cause. The support from Stettler and the surrounding area is once again, incredible.”
The SHSF would also like to acknowledge the Stettler Superfluity Shop, who donated nearly $8,000 to the fundraiser.
