The Stettler Wildcats line up against the Camrose Trojans on Sept 5

The Camrose Trojans left Stettler victorious on Friday night after defeating the local football team by a score of 6-3.

It was a tightly contested game throughout as the Wildcats held a 3-0 lead at halftime, thanks to a lone field goal.

The home-opener was spoiled in the second half, as Camrose pushed their way down the field into the endzone, but failed to convert on the two point attempt.

The scrimmage was a good test for the squad to get acquainted, as they now head to Blackfalds for a game on September 11.
