The County of Stettler is once again supporting the Festival of Lights, an annual fundraiser for the local hospital.
At its Sept. 24 meeting, council approved the purchase of two tables and the donation of a decorated tree for this year’s gala, set for Saturday, Nov. 29.
Now in its 28th year, the volunteer-led event has raised more than $1.5 million for equipment at the Stettler Hospital. This year’s goal is to fund the purchase of an Olympus endoscopy tower.
Tickets for the event go on sale Oct. 1.
