As the teacher’s strike in Alberta continues, Friday’s game between Stettler and Hunting Hills could be the final game of the season, depending on how long the strike lasts.

It was Senior Night at the high school football field. Before the game, the seniors were recognized for their final year of high school football.

The first half of football was a close battle, with Stettler grabbing six points from field goals to tie the game 13-13 at halftime.

Unfortunately for the Cats, Hunting Hills came out swinging in the second half, scoring a touchdown almost immediately. Our livestream lost internet connection, so we don’t have that TD included in our highlight package. There were more scores to come for the Hunting Hills Lightning.

Stettler would get one last touchdown to make it 39-20, which was the final score.

Hunting Hills improved their record to 4-1 and the Wildcats would fall to 1-4.
