Stettler County Awards $414K Gravel Crushing Tender

The County of Stettler council has awarded the 2026 gravel crushing tender for the Collins Pit to Innisfail-based Malcolm Contracting Ltd.

During their April 22 meeting, council approved the $414,900 bid for the mining & stockpiling of approximately 50,000 cubic metres of aggregate. 

The contract includes a provision to extend production to a maximum budgeted value of $450,000.

Malcolm Contracting was selected over two other bidders following a public tender for the project site at NE 22-36-20-W4M.
