1:45 P.M. Update – Developing Story:
Clearview Public Schools says a shelter-in-place at Stettler Elementary & Wm E Hay has now been lifted.
Just after 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, the school division sent a notice to parents due to a structure fire across the street from the schools.
The fire was extinguished shortly after, with school officials not anticipating any disruption to end-of-day pickup or bus service.
The scene along 54th Street was cordoned off for a few hours as officials conducted their investigation.
Clearview expressed their appreciation to emergency crews for the quick response & for families patience & understanding.
