It was a big day for football in Stettler on Saturday, September 26.
All of Stettler’s minor football teams were in action for Stettler Football Day, with the local squads coming away with some impressive results.
The day kicked off with the Atom Bobcats hosting teams from Drumheller and Red Deer before the Bantam Cougars took the field at 4:30.
The Cougars picked up a decisive 54-8 win over the Hanna Hawks.
The evening game saw the Peewee Panthers also come away with the home win, defeating the Olds Huskies by a score of 32-14.
Meantime on the road, The high school Stettler Wildcats played an exhibition game in Canmore, coming home with a close 22-21 win over the Wolverines.
