Clearview Public Schools Press Release:Â
The Clearview Return to Service Bursary supports local students pursuing post-secondary education with the goal of bringing their skills back to our communities.
This bursary helps strengthen our region by investing in students who are committed to returning home to live and work after graduation.
Purpose
This program is designed to:
- Support students in completing post-secondary education
- Address workforce needs in our communities
- Encourage graduates to return and build their careers locally
- Strengthen long-term community sustainability
Bursary Value
Successful applicants may receive up to $10,000, distributed over time:
$2,000 – Upon proof of enrolment (September)
$1,000 – Upon program completion and return to the area
$4,000 – After 2 years of full-time work in the field
$3,000 – After 3 years of full-time work in the field
Who Can Apply
Applicants must:
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person
- Be a graduate of Clearview Public Schools or have lived in the division for at least 3 years
- Be entering or currently in their final year of the Bachelor of Education degreeÂ
- Demonstrate academic achievement and community involvement
- Show a clear commitment to returning to the Clearview area
- Sign a Return to Service Agreement
Note: Some bursaries may target specific programs (e.g., Education) depending on funding and workforce needs.Â

Application Process
Applicants must submit:
- Completed application form
- Typed essay
- Two letters of reference (non-family)
- Proof of enrolment in their final year
Applications are reviewed based on:
- Academic achievement
- Community involvement
- Commitment to the region
- Workforce relevance
- Essay quality and references
